If anyone is thinking about reading this. Don’t. It’s not even that bad in the whole grand scheme of yaoi. It’s just weird. And boring. And really off.
The mangaka couldn’t commit to a wholesome or psychological vibe and so we ended up with this mess. This could’ve been a decent wholesome manga about discovering confidence through friendship and love. Or a slightly better psychological manga about obsessive fan culture.
TLDR; could’ve been great, but wasn’t. So now we’re stuck with mediocrity.
My review is way too long for the character limit.
TLDR; the sister is a plot device, the brother-in-law taboo is definitely there but has little impact, the two main characters are one-note at best, their relationship is even more flat, and the plot is boring.
Read something better— or at the very least, more interesting.
