salt in the sea

this was soo beautiful. there are so many intimate themes captured in this manga, it speaks as an ode to storytelling, as art as an essence of the creator. this whole one shot to me was a journey of grief, we are ephemeral but immortalised by the people who live on through the memories they hold on to and thus, we continue to live. I interpreted the ending as the MC coming in terms with his grief and finally finding the missing piece in Eri's movie.
