Loser meter: 8.5/10 high
Seme has pictures of the uke on the wall and fantasizes about him a lot. He’s obsessed with the uke, and he idolizes him
The story ended up being cute and sweet
TW: SA
Loser meter: 9/10 (very pathetic)
Literally would be so peak without the SA,,
LOCAL OTAKU LEARNS ABOUT SEX!! (<- the plot)
Jokes side lol, seme is a full on otaku who navigates through life using anime and eroge VNs (lol). He’s quite cute, and he becomes very clingy towards the end.
Loser meter 5/10
Seme is an antisocial bookwriter (to everyone but his uke of course) and he can get very clingy and possessive because he’s quite insecure.
Loser meter: 5/10
Seme is very feminine and uke-like. he and clings to the uke. He can be quite possessive as well. He’s a crier and I get the sense that he likes to feign innocence to get pity from uke
Loser meter 6.5/10
This seme is technically not a loser in his setting, but in terms of a character, he is very boyfailure to me. Imagine falling in love against your will…
It was funny watching him try to deny his own feelings. this seme is very tsundere~
Loser meter: 8/10
I feel bad for this seme. He’s a bit of a wimp and antisocial (especially at first) but that’s because of his past of being bullied :(
Like many others on this list, he also eventually gets pretty clingy towards uke.
Loser meter: 7/10
Ok. This one is hard to talk about. The first season that is out so far portrays a younger and very insecure+pathetic seme who is heavily dependent on the uke. He is also very possessive in his own right.
I did really like the mysteries set up in the plot, and there was some genuine characterization with other side characters which I thought was very poignant. This story may not be for all, but it definitely captivated me and I will continue to read it
TW: SA, Violence, Abuse, Suicide, etc
Can’t say I recommend this story since it’s themes and art style is not for everyone. This manhwa does not hold back when it comes to violence and portrayal of abuse.
This story has 2 semes. I’m referring to only one of them for this list.
Loser Meter: 8.5/10
One of the semes is head over heels for uke. He’s not very good at talking and is extremely clingy to uke to a detrimental degree. He ain’t right in the head.
Loser meter: 3.5/10 low
The seme in the first story isn’t quite a loser in your typical way, but he’s a socially inept and head over heels for uke which falls in line with an ongoing trend in this list ijbol he constantly second guesses himself and has a hard time expressing himself to others. Very cute fella though
the story was very wacky and there’s a lot of suspension of disbelief you gotta do, but it’s charming in its own way.
Loser meter 7/10
3 chapters are out as im writing this.
Seme is a gentle giant who is awkward and unwittingly becomes uke’s stalker (he intended to be an afar admirer but thats not how it looked). He is also not very good at communicating, but he treats uke very well and is afraid to do anything to hurt the uke.
So far, very cute and wholesome story about two people being new to a gay relationship.
