Realistic w/ the discrimination and terrible treatment, but imagine being as handsome as Otar and Harven yet getting treated as ugly just cause your skin's dark. MC's decently handsome as well, but he made an entire convent swoon cause he's fair and there's no way him being blonde and blue-eyed to boot didn't do any favours. Cause of that, MC had to deign to help Otar and be his only 'saviour'. It's cool seeing the disparity+that the author didn't make them less handsome, proving a pt. Props.

Idk, so far, I hate this to an unhealthy degree. I mean, if the author wanted to write straight smut, they should've just done that. What's this garbage masquerading as BL and queerbaiting? I don't like smut in general, even if it's wlw smut, but straight smut, I tend to hate w/ a passion. I don't hate straight people or find them gross or anything but it is what it is and I'd have rather known this was predominantly filled w/ straight sex scenes, homophobia and denial than anything else.

Really like these 2 and love the art style. 'Nerds that dress like geeks', pffftt. Lol. They're good-looking too, but author so real for that.

Insanely good, wow. The emotions, situations, the characters, the groundedness, the comedy (an axe almost annihilating your face through a door by a snake-wearing old man should not have been that hilarious). Really can't wait for more.

Witches out here will unreasonably assassinate you for choosing the same name as them and you have to act as if that's okay, normal and forgivable. The way that I absolutely loved this. I wish I spent my uni years like this. When I was in uni, I was experiencing: 1) Existential dread and gay denial, 2) Ignoring the couple of girls that made me feel and ish, 3) Almost died from ignoring serious long-term health issues and hiding its deterioration from my family, 4) Ignoring all people/friends/fam in general, blaming COVID. I was getting my Master's in Ignoring ALL My Problems. Tiny bit of regrets, even when I promised myself to live w/ none.
