I’m SO OBSESSED with this story!!! Ugh, it’s so hilarious and heartwarming. Morimoto Kozueko’s humor is an acquired taste, but i’m so obsessed with it!! the weirdly specific scenarios and dry delivery all hits so right. You feel the love through every little thought and gesture between Mitsumasa and Kie. The story also follows other love stories involving the rest of the Koudai family, and every single one is genuinely compelling. i could rant forever. SO UNIQUE
Endless mind games and rivalry. I loved every second of it. If you’re craving academic rivals with a competitive edge to their romance, this has LITERALLY everything you’re looking for. The chapter count is definitely overwhelming, but I enjoyed it from start to finish. It’s such an oddball of a manga.
Princess Jellyfish isn’t your typical coming-of-age story. it’s more about the quiet pressures women like Tsukimi face when the world deems their passions “weird.” What makes it stand out is its sincere and thoughtful portrayal of outcasts, especially women with unconventional interests and men who cross-dress. The representation is handled with warmth and nuance, and the cast is full of humor, heart, and authenticity. the romance is also great
The perfect relationship is with someone who gets your hobbies and lets you be your weird self without judgment. I absolutely adore their dynamic—but I do wish there was more romance. I feel like we get sprinklings of romance, and while they’re sweet, I found myself wanting more of those heartfelt moments.
I loved this one! Their dynamic is hilarious but also adorable. The ML knows he loves the FL and isn’t afraid to show it, which is so refreshing. It’s cute, it’s fluffy, but more than that, it’s healthy. They trust each other, rely on each other, and there’s no annoying drama or pointless misunderstandings. Even though the FL is still learning to open up, you can really feel how they’re growing together, and it’s just… ugh, so good.
THIS MANGA’S LETHAL FACE CARDS NEVER DISAPPOINT!!! The art style is so cozy, elegant, and absolutely gorgeous. Every panel is a visual treat, and I literally can’t get enough. The slowburn is insane but so worth it. The chemistry between the MCs is unreal. like soulmate-level vibes. Even in the quietest, most mundane moments, they’re completely in sync, and it just works. I can’t imagine them apart. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a couple feel this
Wish it was this easy to fall in love honestly. Couldn't believe this is also from the same author as "Shi ni Modori no Mahou Gakkou Seikatsu wo, Moto Koibito to Prologue Kara," considering the amount of fluff with no angst in this manga!! Both characters are so refreshing and I love how Takumi adores Kaho's airheadedness :') and how they both slowly fall in love! a very sweet simple teenage crush story. just light and airy
I love the soft, gentle love they have. it’s warm, almost domestic. As someone who knows sign language, I was blown away that he learned it for her. Even more than that, I’m obsessed with how he never treats her like a charity case or defines her by her deafness. He just sees her as a normal person, which is one of the most important qualities a partner can have when you live with a disability. If I had one issue, it’s that she can sometimes feel a bit too babied or overly inno
I love this manga so much! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ It’s a sweet, cozy romcom between a very tall man who loves crossdressing and cute things, and a short tomboy girl who’s unapologetically herself. i absolutely love things that subvert traditional gender norms, and their relationship feels so fresh and so real. I adore how their love grows naturally as they explore every stage of their relationship, not just as a couple, but as individuals too. They’re weird, honest, and perfectl
Sweet and lighthearted! It’s a simple story, but charming and fun to read<33 The female lead loves all things cute, while the male lead is a shy introvert with an unexpectedly adorable side. it didn’t completely rock my world, but i had a really nice time reading it!!

though i’d also be happy to discuss stupid stuff
Please feel free to ask questions about any of the manga on this list!!!! seriously, I would love it! I’m a massive ranter at heart, and there’s just never enough room in the review section to say everything I want to say. Cutting my thoughts down to a few lines is honestly PAINFUL sometimes, because I have so much bursting love for these stories and characters, and I always want to scream about them in full detail. If there’s a series you’re curious about, something in a review that stood out to you, or even if you just want to chat about a story we both love. I would be absolutely overjoyed to talk.
