The satisfaction of seeing a girl boss eat her enemies alive and still looking gorgeous is unbeatable. Personally, in another timeline this could’ve been a really compelling GL and I think the sincerity between both MCs (Emi and Remilia) is what keeps the story believable when it gets into complexing plotting and world changing events. Regardless, the endgame ship with Remi and Angel is a ride I’d stay on even if it sunk!
To blend an adult mind with a child body is a challenging narrative to write but I think the author does well in wrangling the line without it being creepy. As much as an MC with the knowledge of the future can be great, a story about redemption is never as powerful without a great supporting cast that is also properly fleshed out. A fun read and a cute, budding romance to top it off!
A slow burn that doesn’t pay off. Future me, don’t reread it if you like getting blue balled by cute boys struggling to fall in love. Glad that they ended up together but the ending is so abrupt with no extras or smut that I can’t even say I’m satisfied with the cute vanilla ending,
This isekai has a great progression of romantic development! With fleshed out motives and complex characterization, this couple is able to shine in its romantic believability. When you can empathize with any character it’s telling of a good story and a great adaptation! A reminder of the difference in love and obsession. If only Cesar wasn’t a psycho… Alas…
