gap moe my weakness. the japanese have an obsession with no-good men who goes against all common sense and i do too.
I am a sucker for romance between 2 super high functioning dudes with a lot of pride on the line. First one i read of this universe.
I love foureyed pragmatic business-like people pleasing people. e.g Tatsumi from Caste Heaven, or even the Silent Reading guy. Its not about having 0 street smarts but a compelling life of someone who is naturally alone, independent and operates on intellect.
Out of the series, this one i emotionally connected with the most, since Kiriya's unemotional archetype wasnt portrayed super tropey. The author understood the type of dry, humanitarian, grounded humor. Kyouya's naiveness was also portrayed nicely, he accepts that his type of heart means hes happy from the small things even if Kiriya doesnt perform emotions for him.
