hmm its aight

the piercing one was so hard to get thru cuz im so squeamish. i liked how harada plays with bl tropes by writing thru the girls' perspective. the tuk-tuk crash one was wholesome, i liked the author's voice dissecting why 'social minorities' feel pressured to act normal, or to act 'cool'. "take it easy", its an important message.

I like the darker elements. The police detective with a sense of justice thats juxtaposed with his own selfish but human emotions. The sociopathic dude who views everything as a cold transaction and for his own use, but theres a sliver of him thinking how hes a substitute for someone else again. I lso like how the story portrays their development of finally acknowledging that they like eachother, this tug and pull towards ur rationality and what u know and also letting urself be "swayed".
