Initially i thought i wouldnt really like this manga, i had actually begun reading it and stopped at chap. 2. I am glad i gave it another chance. The story touches on heavy topics like rape, SA, manipulation, ptsd, organized crime etc. Sometimes it can be a heavy read bc of that. But the sheer chemestry of the main couple holds everything together neatly and instead of worrying about how they would overcome thieir problems i just kept on reading enthralled by their dynamics.
So so so good i had to read the novel. And i must say i recomend the novel even more than i recommend the manhwa. The manhwa is great but is has to condense many scenes and i think it ultimatly takes many things away from the original vision. There are some points that felt rushed and unplanned, but the story is so enjoyable it more than makes up for it. Definetly worth the read.
I enjoy these shorter stories a lot, what they lack in timing to give their characters more complexity they make up with creativity and visual cues. Honestly it was one of those where i wish it had less smut, just so i could see the characters interact more. I love the student council x delinquent dynamics and that plus the fantasy twist was great. Wish there were more stories like this one
Perfect buddy is a classic, a very very good story. The ML is buff and cute and the MC reads like a relatable workinh adult. It has its ups and downs but overall it is definetly worth the read. The moments i felt fristrated for the couple didnt feel cheap or forced and the pay off was good.
Very sweet story. This is the epitome of fluff (at least right now). I find that the development of the romance (the awkwardness, the attempt to impress the confusion about their feelings and ultimatly the acceptance) felt emotionally complex and held up an interesting although simple plot.
A bl classic. I am really enjoying thw story, the art is gorgeous and the characters feel 3 dimentional, and the same can be said abt their interactions and dynamics. The main antagonist though... is a bit cartoony and pretty cliche. But the romance more than makes up for it.
At the moment there is not many chapters, but i am enticed. Age gap, and a handsome ML that looks like a mobster. The story progression is smooth and natural, especially the introduction of vampires, it was already interesting before the reveal - holding up the mysteries and sustaining meaningful interactions that held my interest. When it was finally revealed that the mc was a vampire it did not feel like a gimmic nor cheapened the story, which means a lot.
Honestly this is just up my alley. It has been a long time since i was searching for a story that got this incredible plot of survival and reliance and codependence and all of those things. I love stories with this kind of "tough love" and i find it pretty rare to find one that matches my taste this preciselly. Very good survival story with very good characters that manage to be relatable even with the small number of chapters.
