Someone said this is different from other popular x not popular roommate manga and they were right. Odajima struggles with being gay after growing up in a household where his dad cheated on his mom with a man, and his mother essentially worried and bullied him into being straight. He tried to be with girls to set himself straight but he’d been in love with a classmate for a long time. It’s really beautiful and it made me cry. It’s so heartbreaking.
