slow paced growing of a relationship between two high school boys. The relationship never degenerate to caricature. It never involves any violence. The hesitation and discovery of the boys are pretty easy to beleive in. Drawing is sober and expressive
probably one of my best read, if not the best so far,
refreshingly a story about friendship and self discovery. I serioulsy hope that this will stay this way, as it would loose quite a bit of it's power if not. Seriously amazing
the great point about this tittle is that side by side, you have a very ordinary man, and a man of talent. Each of them has to face prejudice but the choices they can make to live with their difference differs quite a lot. Meeting each other they are mirrors of their own cowardly/surviving choices, and their growing relationship push them to break these wall.
I wish there were more shoe history, it kind of got lost in the middle. Il love the characters depth of this serie.
Very good emotional art, slow paced, sensitive story. BTW the other title by the same artist is great too
this is one i would have thrown away if not for the advises. It start with some rapish/forceful relationship which i deeply dislike, but the growth of the character relationship is way beyond expectation. After one or two volumes the tittle actualy really explores the question of growing as adult and keeping a relationship together and the hardship it represent. After some time highschooler even become college students, and their universe and personnal life expand, which is seldom explored
This was the first "good read" in the yaoi division for me. Not any caricature a slow pacing growing of characters and relationships, and a really nice feel to erotic pages as they were really part of the story developpement. it felt really mature yet sweet as a reading and i still like it a lot, even if jappanese family values still evade me :)
really slow paced sweet teen age day by day life (and girl romance). it feels true and fresh, although some might think it lacks any action, i really like this slice of life cheerfull style
very slow paced but intriguing characters. i don't know how reaistic it is as there is a bit of fantastic but the rowing feellings feels pretty ok. I'm a bit sad of too many sad childhood background but it is not to heavy either. I found it a good read (so far shonen ai more than yaoi which is not a bother to me at all)
very beautiful storyboarding, with great use of abstract-ish background to transport you into a beautiful encourter, simply dazling
again very impressive panelling, with a sweet teenagers story, albeit, a bit short
