first and foremost, i can say that the artstyle in this is one of the best i've seen and read
cirrus is a very complex character. i was weirded out by him at first but as i read more, i could see why he acts the way he does
TW: has disturbing themes such as inc3st and gr4pe since it is based on egyptian mythology and we all know they don't give a shit about that
despite the obvious problematic themes, i did not drop this because it has very good slowburn and pining from seme
update: we FINALLY got the long-awaited scene
a pretty simple and lighthearted read but effective
to be honest, the main reason why this is stuck on my mind is because i remember reading the first proper intimate scene between the two main characters (around ch. 30) and thinking "wow, this is really good smut". it was the perfect balance between sexy and romantic
i stumbled upon this while scouring for manhwas with ACTUAL satisfying grovel and it didn't disappoint. i remember crying over it
this is coming from a person who LOVES the grovelling trope and constantly craves for heart-crushing angst and thinks people put the "grovel" label on most stuff way too easily
i personally like the second couple more (the one on the cover) because of the angst. it's the "uke fell first, seme fell harder" trope
ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
i think it's enough to say that i binge-read this in one day. it's THAT good. huge praise to the illustrator who made many scenes incredibly nuanced without the need of dialogue
this type of seme (a.k.a. dominant puppy type, seme-who-is-whipped-for-uke-but-still-gives-him-enough-room-to-breathe-even-though-he's-totally-possessive type) is my cup of tea. and the ANGST, the angst is gut-wrenching. you don't even understand how much i ate this up
