The single GREATEST tragedy of all time, PERIOD. Cannot change my mind on this.
Definitely one of my favorites on this list. We see so much character depth and growth, we see a fl who wants to change her fate, yet is bound by it and eventually accepts it. We see a ml who truly cares for our fl more than she does herself because of all her trauma. And it is beautiful.
This story is so cute and sweet and I love the leads, but it’s really sad in those moments that dive deep into the fl life and what she’s had to do to survive. It’s also pretty unique because the main pov comes from the ml! I kinda love that we only uncover what the ml discovers about the trauma our fl has been through. And he is the SINGLE greenest flag I have ever encountered in a manhwa. He is so patient with her and just when fl thinks no one will care for her, ml steps up.
Again, another depressing story about tales of miscommunication and a family that doesn’t trust or believe the fl. It’ll leave you loathing just about everyone and heartbroken for the mc. I want to say this is the saddest of all of these because there is just never any hope for her. Mc truly can never catch a break
OMG I just want to hug out fl. And I want her desperately to trust and to love the ml but I don’t blame her for actively planning her escape. I wouldn’t be able to trust anyone either, if I was as emotionally broken as she was.
They are so bad for each other. Yet I yearn for them to be good to each other. Beautiful, I love it. Tbh I love Heiner as a character the most. He is so flawed. Yet that is what makes him so human and so tragic.
Literally so depressing. Like, she experiences multiple lives, all of which is just tragedy for only her. This is like the same situation as every other tragic romance, except she’s not some strong witty fl, she’s literally a normal person that experiences the effects of reliving the same horrible life. And I love that it dives into the effects of never receiving love, it’s beautiful.
Translation is rly confusing at times tho
The historical setting, the emotion, the subtle but sweet, yet not rushed romance just adds so much character to this series. I love that we get to see so much emotion from both leads. Like you can clearly see that they were bad to each other, but it’s rooted in trauma and miscommunication. And the lack of communication is rooted in a deep shame for the trauma they’re experiencing. And that’s so real and I just love it so much.
This one really just leaves you on the edge. Just when things seem to be going right, they don’t.
