I also read this in middle school and I remember being soo weirdly impacted by this because I think it opened my head to psychological thrillers. It’s a pretty short story but I enjoyed it for many years.

I think this story was genuinely what made me fall in love with this author when I was young. I loved the art and the way each character was written. I related a lot to certain moments
