Where's the psychological horror tag /J
On a serious note, this is genuinely one of my favorite works of fiction of all time and is easily my favorite manga ever. Perhaps that's just a lot of my favorite storytelling elements/genres being present in one story, lol. The romance is a slow burn, but once you get invested in the story, it's totally worth it. I love them so much. Prepare to have your heart warmed then to get it utterly crushed !
I'll never not be so deeply fascinated with this manga. It feels so rooted in the real world. It's like no other mamga I've ever read in that regard, and I'm not sure any other manga will ever meet it's level. I genuinely don't have the vocabulary to describe how this manga makes me feel or how great I think it is.
Another favorite manga of mine ! The story is really interesting, I'm surprised this manga isn't more popular. I've been keeping up with the story for about 3 years now, and I'm happy I started reading it !
The concept of Beastars' world is very fascinating, and Beast Complex explores that in compelling ways with its short stories. If you liked Beastars, you'll love Beast Complex. Very few times while reading a manga have i paused during and after a chapter to digest and deeply think about what I've read. The amount of times I've stated at a panel and contemplated the message and story is almost unmet by any other piece of fiction I've engaged with, besides SOMA.
Beastars.................. go read it
As much as I love my cute little romance and occasionally that dash of psychological horror themes... beastars and Beast Complex are objectively like, just some of the best manga I've read. If you like looking way too deep into the themes and implied messages of stories, you will go WILD with the beastars universe.
I LOVE rereading this series, the humor never fails to get me, and I love the main chatacters... friendship, lol. The story ends on a somewhat vague and unsatisfying point before any romance actually begins between the two, but I still don't regret reading it anyways, it's still a great read regardless ! What's with Korean comedy Manhwas and seldom failing to make me laugh, haha ? Really,.every one I've read has never missed the mark. And this one is definitely my favorite st
Always gets a laugh out of me. The narrative is really interesting, I'm very intrigued to see where the story goes. I didn't expect a comedy to have so much compelling storytelling but I've been very pleasantly surprised ! Every character always leaves me wanting to know more about them.
I've noticed a lot of the manga i like either makes me laugh or makes me think way too deeply about the story and psychological themes... this one does both ! But mostly the laughing, haha. The twist is great, I had a lovely time reading this the whole way through ! It's a series you don't want to spoil for yourself regarding any of the twists, jump in and don't read any possibly spoiling reviews beforehand, lol !
Was obsessed with this manhwa back in my Freshman year, lol ! I had a lot of fun with this one, it was definitely my favorite for a good while !
Wholesome slice-of-life ! I always get happy seeing this updated.
