The vampire concept in this is BEYOND cool, I'm so obsessed? How have I never seen this one before? It's such a creative dynamic, I love the crime-fic element and all of the characters are so endearing. I'm blown away!! Also, potentially ace protagonist?!
1/2
I didn't even know this was a BL when I first started reading it, it's been so plot focused. I love the internal conflict of our MC
EDIT: (**MILD SPOILER:) Changed to 2 stars because it's been built up as quite mild and they threw in a sudden explicit sex scene waaaay too late in the story for it to make sense to the plot. Just feels disruptive and unnecessary right now?? I love everything else about it, I just think this sudden direction is bad writing. Massive d
I need to reread this one to properly grasp it but I love how fleshed out the world and characters are. Incredibly grounded
Big fan of the ooky spooky narrative. Are they devices to get the MLs to gradually bow chika wow wow? Kinda, but it still works!
Big fan of the zombie apocalypse setting and how MLs aren't mindlessly in love just because
Oh. My. God?
This one cannot even be rated. It needs to be EXPERIENCED.
This author is not a human, they are a god.
More so has overtones but not a confirmed relationship. Incredibly beautiful story and message!
This was soooo sweet. I really appreciate the themes surrounding family and how each character has a realistic background. The mystery here is really fun too. Shorts always hit the hardest huh
I love the PI and beastman setting here. The characters are also incredibly logical and their relationship is built gradually so far! Happy to see a slow(er) romance
Another great instance of world building. And let me tell you it is SO SO refreshing to see protagonists be so upfront with their romantic feelings and just admit it!!
