Gay male prostitute x Straight man.
About a man who works as a prostitute in a heaven-like place called "shangri la", and a straight guy who comes there to work as a foreplay man.
The main characters are written like real people and they'll have a slow burn type relationship, but it will keep you glued to this, I can assure you!
A must read.
(P.s. there's no homophobia from the straight man's side)
Painter x Merchant.
A young painter was mistreated and forced to paint within a hidden small room. One day a merchant came by to ask for a portrait from the household, and later found the true painter's identity.
The setting and the characters are well written, a really good story, especially if you're into historical romance.
Wolf x Human (no bestiality).
About a gay man who loves dogs that ends up being a foster parent of what he believes to be a husky.
The dog, however, has the appearance of one just during the day...
With a particular and warm artstyle, it's a breath of fresh hair in the middle of the all repetitive manhua/manga art slob.
Very engaging storyline, I warmly recommend this.
Big company Director x College Student.
Yiyoung is building a startup with his college friends. They get a chance to present their proposal to SJ Corporation, but the presentation does not go as planned...
WARNING: age gap (15 years)
The reason I put this in the list is because of how the narration flows naturally. Along with the "non flat" characters it is also a quite funny/light read if you can stand the Director x Employee trope.
Policeman x Chef.
Hyunwook is in love with his female best friend Heesung. However she announces to him that she'll get married soon to a friend of none other than Hyunwook himself.
He helps her plan her wedding at a restaurant called Secondo Piatto.
There he meets Wonyoung, an old friend of Heesun’s fiancée. But why is Wonyoung crying on the day of the wedding?
Honestly, I didn't know if I should add this or not, give it a try, maybe you'll like it, maybe not.
Vampire x Banker.
A world where vampires govern humans and even have Blood Banks, where they can get fresh blood.
There works ONE, a banker that isn't affected by vampire pheromones. One day, Shell, the son of a Blood Lord, comes to visit for inspection.
However, when Shell discovers that his pheromones don't work on ONE, he will reveal his true hidden nature.
Not so subversive, but neither your typical yaoi plot.
Music Professor & Professor's Son x Music student.
After Jaehyun’s piano performance goes viral, a renowned music professor grants him a scholarship at a prestigious music school but this also entails a sexual relationship outside of the classroom. Jaehyun hopes this will get him an opportunity to study in Germany. But when the professor’s son, a piano prodigy, arrives, Jaehyun finds his plans thwarted.
Not a masterpiece, but quite interesting
Prince x (Male) Witch.
The story follows Prince Ryan of Yarke, who wanders into the forbidden land of Uren and meets a mesmerizing woman.
She is a witch, but that is not her only secret.
She is in fact a male, cursed to transform into a woman under the full moon.
Original plot I'd say. It might seem "straight" in some parts but I promise you that it's not. Recommended.
Vampire x Human.
Writer Hasegawa Mitsuru has been investigating a case that was rumored to be the work of vampires known as “Biters”. His childhood friend, Annaka, warns him not to stick his head into where it doesn’t belong.
But is he hiding something behind that request?
King x (resurrected)Prince.
After dying, 19-year-old Feng Ming is reincarnated as a stunningly beautiful Prince. Contrary to his expectations, the prince he reincarnated into was just a puppet prince, and he finds himself caught in a dangerous game of power and obsession with King Rong Tian, while struggling to hide his true identity and uncover the fate of the original prince.
