Also, the main couple is an LGBT couple! For people who don't know much about Chinese culture, this manhua is an amazing gateway. The story will make your heart ache, the happy ending is guaranteed, but the ride is turbulent, and will teach you precious things.
Oh God, I have no words for this manhua. I strongly recommend reading the novel before the manhua, but I'll warn you: on this list, it's one of the works with the most sensitive content. From beginning to end.

Xie Lian, simply the symbol of resilience and humanity. Simply another work by the same author as Mo Dao Zu Shi, you won't regret reading it. I cried along with the characters, I learned wonderful lessons, my physical book is full of marked phrases.
I read this manhwa during a difficult phase of my life. I still remember it today, one summer night, in my room drinking grape juice while reading and laughing my ass off. It is a work that brings a strange feeling of comfort to me. It's a simple work, but with incredible characters, two couples with A LOT of chemistry. I love the story, the art, absolutely everything about this manhwa.
Every month, I read and reread this manga whenever I can. Again, the story is simple, but there are moments that made me smile like an idiot and cry along with the characters. The sincerity between them was so raw that it hurt. They are both just flawed and frightened humans trying to live in a world full of social pressure and expectations, and I could see a part of myself in them. The dialogues between them touched me deeply, the art is breathtaking, simply one of the best I've ever seen.
