Unexpected ML
The MC was in an established office romance with a male lead that eventually ended up disappearing from the plot. The '2nd male lead' ended up being the final male lead, but it was obvious after a while.
Unexpected ML
Almost the entire story the author made you believe that the psycho ex was the male lead (because of his importance to the plot) but the final male lead was actually her coworker.
Which is great because the ex was the definition of red flag while the coworker became a green flag.
Unknown ML
The FL is in a relationship with three different male leads and you have no idea who the endgame is until literally the last chapter, and:
SURPRISE! A polygamous ending where 2 out of 3 male leads stay with her
Unknown ML
If the mc's first love didn't exist I would think that for sure the male lead will be his main abuser (please NO), but I have the impression that the author will surprise us with a healthy ending with the first love.
If not it's still an unexpected male lead because the current options are equally shitty
Unknown ML
In the beginning the author quite explicitly presented the alpha as the toxic main lead, but the situation completely shifted to the omega midway and currently not even that is sure because he ended up being equally toxic.
Now we're headed towards a double regret route (wohoo!) and my prediction is that there will be a polygamous ending with both of them.
Edit: I was right, it's unexpectedly poly
Unexpected ML
In the beginning his master seemed to be the typical male lead who's toxic because he's traumatized, but thankfully the male lead ended up being the little brother (when he physically grew up, don't worry!)
Unknown ML
No idea who the main lead is. I would say his first love (the other gives off second male lead vibes) but we're currently as confused as the mc.
Edit: as of ch.69 che male lead seems to be Joowon, the first love
Unexpected ML
I dropped this literally AGES ago because I was bored, but it caught my interest again because apparently the male lead ended up being the only one who was excluded as a possible male lead from the beginning (as he looks like the stereotypical uke and is smaller than mc): the one with white hair.
Unknown ML & Unexpected ML
The male lead was completely unknown until the latest chapter because the interactions with the two possible male leads were equal. I mostly expected the one with black hair to be the endgame but no, it's the blonde one!
Unexpected ML
PERFECT example, the ending is the most unexpected I've ever read. (HEAVY NOVEL SPOILERS)
Polygamous ending! But the really surprising part is: one is Khalid, but he never actually forgives him and he's basically his dog, and the other is a THIRD MAN (so not the emperor), a character that seemed to be secondary and unimportant that ended up being his emotional support and a male lead.
So yeah he kills the emperor and ends up in a threesome
