Philomel, after knowing she wasn't an actual born but a fake, tried whatever she could to survive as her father saw her as a walking trash to be disposed of. Later on, the dad became obsessed and actually started to see her as his own daughter.

One of the + in this series is that the mc actually keeps her goals, and despite the many years being with the "dad", she still held no attachment and was ready to leave his side.

Personally enjoyed it alot

First off, everyone in their family including servants love her so much, which made me enjoy most of the main cast.
Second, female lead is way too kind even when people want to kill her, which is a little off putting.
I enjoyed the creepy tension at the start, which made this manhwa very memorable. Overtime it is just slow and can be considered boring if you are not attached to the characters.
Kian(Male lead) is a very enjoyable character which would honestly have been better if he was the main
