Promising, but Unlikely to be Completed Yaoi

Hilarious and often-confusing Battle Royale between Shadow-lord roommate Yoshino and hypnotically transformed super-seme brother Naruki for sex with Kou as soon as the poor deluded tool realizes he's really a uke. Sadly, the story cuts off before the threesome starts tearing off clothes.

You have to hand it to Ogasawara, her art is incredible, her sex scenes are blow-the-roof-of-your-head-off hot, but her plots are sheer bimbly Crack-a-woo-woo! Um, yeah. This one even has a fetish I've never heard (or dreamed) of. Seriously, I will never look at bonsai the same again. I'm sure I've missed loads of important details, but I was distracted by all the hot bishies having surprise buttsex.

Isshiki is a piano prodigy and Sasa, the former prodigy and his predecessor. Sasa's sense of dignity suffers when he loses his position, but it returns when Isshiki professes his love. I enjoyed the transition from professional envy and competition (or, in Sasa's case, utter capitulation and despair) to cooperation, admiration and love, but it feels difficult to connect to Sasa. Apparently there are two other volumes to go along with this scanned original, but there haven't been any signs.

At an all-male boarding house, tenants come and go as their life circumstances change. One of the stories involves a re-encounter as Ryouta, a photographer, rooms with the person he loved in high school. In the second story, Sugano's affair with a married man closes him off from the companion who truly loves him, until his lover's wife becomes pregnant. More shounen ai than yaoi, these stories are easy and realistic slices of life.

Everyone always underestimates the cute and demure-acting Tetsu, until his unleashes his rage all over them. This son of a yakuza overlord has quite the bag of fighting tricks, and it looks like he's going to need all of them as a scheming pornographer and con artist tries to corner him by making him fall in love. Good story, but unlikely to be finished.

Cute and pleasant story about a very agreeable 17-year-old student, Shouta, who falls for Mihara, an elementary school student-teacher who is experiencing an identity crisis over his sexuality and goes into a gay bar out of curiosity. Unfortunately, this manga has not been updated in ages, and because it hasn't yet been licensed in English, one must assume that the scanlation team has either, gone defunct, dropped it or restricted access.

Review: Prince Raped-a-lot uses his wiles (yes, that's what I'm calling them and I'm sticking to it) to rope in General Sei and Powerful Courtier Touri to the cause of cleaning up the kingdom his father left in a shambles. Hijinks, sex galore and treasonous treachery ensue. Doesn't look like this thing's going to be updated anytime soon.

This one is all over the place. It starts off with brother love, then does a quick palm off to UFOs, conspiracy theory stuff and alien possession. Right now, it's in the middle of a scary boil-the-bunny-type of family rivalry. In the middle of all of this, it's still hugely entertaining, but definitely whack. It's been 3 years since anything happened with the manga, though, so I think that's all we're going to learn about it.

When Kaoru breaks up, his girlfriends complain that he doesn't desire them. College friend Masoto always seems to end up with them. Masoto offers to comfort Kaoru after one such break-up and Kaoru's only issue with this is that Masoto leaves right after they have sex, but he can't seem to say anything about it. Slow-paced and set up for a classic romance with spare drawings beautifully rendered by Takamiya Azuma, this story is scanlated only up to the heartbreak, no further.
