Cute! Wish the author did more animal research but not everyone is as obsessed with animals as me so I’ll have to forgive the common misconceptions… especially about wolves. Cause say it with me WOLVES DON’T WAG THEIR TAILS WHEN THEY'RE HAPPY! And since the bottom isn't mirroring the behavior of his companion, (Wolves will do that since they are social pack animals) there is no reason for the wagging=happiness.
Did you know that most herbivores have a very intense fight response? In order to protect yourself from predators there are multiple things you can do, like be so dangerous to take down that it’s a hazard. The more carnivores a species can take down the less they will be hunted. There’s a reason why some of the most aggressive and dangerous animals on the planet are herbivores. For example, moose and hippos.
Jesus Christ… I can’t even rant on this one. Everything jumps around so much that I can’t even keep track. Like ngl I like seeing where the kids end up but god damn, it’s like getting whiplash over and over again.
Bottom possessed by a wolf spirit. Honestly adorable.
I read the novel and it seems like the author knew quite a bit about the animals they were writing about. No complaints! This is also one of the few stories I don't have a problem with the top (wolf) wagging to show happiness. Wolves are social pack animals which means they mirror the behavior of those they bond with. So the fact that the bottom is a dog that repeatedly shows this behavior makes the wolf wagging his tail make sense.
....???? I'm really unsatisfied with the ending. Like I don't want him to go back. Live in the human world forever, fuck the rabbit kingdom
Zoo animals turning into people. Honestly so interesting. The animal characteristic seem to be alright as well at least i haven't noticed anything outrageously wrong yet.
An orca that turns into a human. And im pretty damn sure he more orca than human... I hope they make its as terrifying as that sounds.
