Not the usual POV I go for, but this one was a whirlwind. It’s intense and drenched in implicit metaphors. These aren’t loveable characters but well rounded ones, with narratively well structured storytelling. Outside of the gag story involving new characters, this was truly pleasure to consume and devour.
A visceral experience, not the type that makes you squirm or might get your rocks off, but the kind you want to look away from, the type to write off. The imagery and story tell grabbed me by the face forcing me to interlock eyes until the very end. It's a story that delves into the search of selves while dancing on the precipice of madness, leaving you a bit detached and introspective after the fact.
Fuckin hell I caught up!! Now I have to wait for the updates. Damn I guess it’s still a blessing I found this story in the first place. I was prepared for a baby generic lightweight delinquent story but what I got instead was MANLY. DRAMATIC. MACHO. FUN. And most of all MEANINGFUL. READ IT!!! You’ll get engrossed in no time!!!!!
Potential gem in the midst!! I need a few more chapters to call it, but we’ve got suspense, intrigue and comedy right out the gate. I’m hoping these flavors meld into a more dynamic layered form… I can’t wait for more!!
I mean the fact that I still stayed up till 6:30 am to reread this masterpiece speaks for itself right. It’s an addictive classic
This story is sooo good, why’d I have to read it now!? I WANT MORE(feeling a bit like a petulant child but it’s just that good)!!!
WTF this is so cute(especially the second story) ! It’s a marshmallow fluff, rainbow sprinkled ,glittering sparkles, tooth-achingly sweet, heartwarmingly funny galore of joy!!!
I thought the amnesia trope was a gimmick, the first 20 or so chapters didn't lead me to believe otherwise. I found the comedy stupid and inane; however I kept pushing forward and at some point, the crude became charming, the inane hilarious, and the gimmick, heartfelt. Both the cast and the rivals became fleshed out, and the baseball itself was gripping (and that's the hardest task). This story finds balance, a rhythm I can't ignore. <3 It's a satisfying worthwhile read! <3
This is anxiety and dread incarnate. I shudder to think what it would be like to live in this hell. Such an excruciating way to live, it’s like my chest is ripped open to have my heart carved out, with my ribs repurposed as a funeral pyre, the fingernails are pulled as offerings and the flesh underneath scraped until they become ruby red divots , a hairsbreadth away from my fingerprints. A horrifying satisfaction asphyxiates reason leaving me at a loss…A wonderful read.
I don't know how to explain how good this is, but like this mangaka is cooking! T A goofy and heartfelt fun action shounen with a pretty damn interesting premise is on its way people, make way, like I said clear the path because this fucking full steam ahead on entertainment!!! It's mesmerizing how quickly I've gotten wrapped around the pinkie toe of this story, honestly the true tragedy is me finding this story so early in it's run. I. NEED. MORE. MOREMOREMORE!!!!

Thank you for saying so, it makes me happy if my thoughts pique your interest even the slightest so that eventually you may pick up the story. It always makes me happy to talk about what I found fun.
About efforts never betray, I looked at the story and it does seem a while back I read it(left a rating and everything) but I must’ve blocked it from my mind. I took a once over because of your suggestion and I think I have an inkling why. It’s genuinely anxiety inducing, although despite how well written the psychological mindscape was of the characters, especially that of our MC, I think it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I get the realism of the ending and I accept it but I can’t really quite stomach the cruelty… The imagery and the rough lines, the way we never do see the father’s face because he’s perceived by our Mc in such a way where he feels he’s this amalgamation of fears that he can’t reason or understand is such a wonderful presentation of the undercurrent of hysteria, trauma and fear.
What did you think about if I may ask?
