This story is so silly and funny, our little urashima taro makes this dystopia way too interesting of a story! Outside of him this dystopian society feels awful realistic with the way things are going, it might be worthwhile, educationally(only half joking ). I also love the emphasis on building out the political state of things, the world building is mighty great. My hope is that the comedy balances well w/ the serious topics the setting will undoubtedly bring. I’m looking forward to more!!
What the hell?! This is better than i expected! This is some honest to god, damn good story telling. A perfect mix of drama and romance. I think we’ve found some gold in this crevice here. It’s mighty fine, I’d take a glance when you get the chance ⛏⚱
We’re politicking in politics, this story is one large conspiracy with several moving parts with the corruption unwinding thread by thread. The lore, politics, the schemes, and factions have been interwoven masterfully by all accounts. The MC is alluring and sly in a way I’ve never seen from the protagonist… my words can’t speak the intrigue and charisma, this story brings…HOW TF IS THIS A SHOUNEN?!?! This is beyond magnificent, A DEFINITE MUST READ.
It starts of as a wild action thriller and slowly builds up to an intricate web of relationships, gangs in the little city of Roanapour. The anime while a blast misses key details, censors itself too often and hides the investigative mystery within each arc (OP of the anime is so fucking good though). The story toes the line of realism and fiction magnificently. It's gritty charming fun.
This is so cute and so sweet. It’s a slow pace slice of life ,of teenagers trying to find their place in this world. Often times heartwarming and other times funny. This is an easy to read piece, sure to bring joy into your life!
The MC and ML's dynamic is S.U.B.L.I.M.E. They are the definition of a charm offensive, as a reader I'm swept of my feet by the charisma oozing from the screen. Add to that their diametric opposite positions and their perfect back & forth (can we call it a rivalry?). The story, the mystery, becomes invigorating and worthwhile. I'm having a damn good time reading this. It's just that good!
I expected from the cover, the standard BL manwha slop and color me surprised when I read this. The actual tension, the build up is insane. The romance is natural and is not intrusive to the narrative. It’s not a cookie cutter story, the world feels lived in, nuanced. The deadlines , the actions of everyone, main and side characters alike makes sense. Above all it’s gripping , tense, the cruelties of this unfolding situation laid bare. A definite easy to pick up story!
The setup is insane, the personality of the narrative is vivacious and loud, our MCs are pretty damn interesting, and that chapter end, . Fuck, this is some peak ass shit right here! I can’t fucking wait!!!
The awkwardness of youth, the stress of adulthood, and the unending difficulties of human relationships. There’s a certain tone this story sets that captures this all in captivating and transparently realistic scenes.
A very simple but well written story
A wonderfully well written suspenseful short story. Every update leaves me wanting, and as we approach the climax, I can see the angst coagulating into a full-fledged tragedy. A wonder to read.

About efforts never betray, I looked at the story and it does seem a while back I read it(left a rating and everything) but I must’ve blocked it from my mind. I took a once over because of your suggestion and I think I have an inkling why. It’s genuinely anxiety inducing, although despite how well written the psychological mindscape was of the characters, especially that of our MC, I think it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I get the realism of the ending and I accept it but I can’t really quite stomach the cruelty… The imagery and the rough lines, the way we never do see the father’s face because he’s perceived by our Mc in such a way where he feels he’s this amalgamation of fears that he can’t reason or understand is such a wonderful presentation of the undercurrent of hysteria, trauma and fear.
