Stories with length - at least one volume

A high school student with little social skills, gets a haircut that changes his life. He falls in love with the barber and also got scouted to be a model/actor. By the nature of his job they can't see each other but the actor's happiness in spending what time he can with him comes out strong and clear - especially with the dog tail and ears that show up periodically. They built their relationship and the old men that helped out were awesome. No angst or real drama, more fluffy feelings.
