This is the first alpha x alpha I’ve ever read where both of them knot in response to the other. Once at chapter 27, where Ash knots when he sees Karlyle knot during rut and the other way around at chapter 97.
I’m normally not a fan of corporate/business romances since it can get boring/dry at some point in time but the rivals to enemies is so good. The only questionable thing in the story is how their relationship developed back in chapter 24. I have no idea how it resulted in them rubbing each other off lmao. I guess that’s what defines their fun, chaotic interactions.
It needed more romance. If it’s set in the “romance” genre, make sure it’s present. There isn’t enough blushing or enough love between the two. Just felt like the author said “oh oops, forgot this was romance”.
Nice and short 6 chapter story about a host and cafe manager falling in love. I really like how their romance is genuine and that you can visibly tell that they were both going through a hard time in terms of opening up to each other. But it all worked out in the end!
It’s missing a lot of lore and details. It’s as if the author wrote this with a long story mentality but ended up with a short story. Because of that, I feel like they bit more than they could chew. It’s saddening, it had potential.
