Title of the list and reviews are WIP. Here is where I save series that have such profound effect on me. They grip onto my soul with such power that I take breaks in the middle of to just entertain my thoughts. It’s mostly BL with smut because it’s the only thing I read here nowadays lol
This made me realize that resonance is not the same as being seen. When something resonates with us, we empathize with the characters, settings, and anything else it presents. Being seen however is when the author is the one who empathizes with us. It feels like the author is really out here for us, patting our backs and saying “you’re not alone”. It’s really that powerful.
Mostly cute and funny but I included it here because it briefly touches on the (very real) difficulties of being a same-sex couple in a still mostly conservative country while raising a child.
