a group of teenagers who ran away from their homes become roommates in a haunted house and struggle to get along. they all form a friend group of mentally unwell teenagers who are just trying to navigate their lives, trying to help each other heal and become better people. less of a plot and extremely character focused, with developmental character arcs related to their traumas/abusive households.

the characters and relationships are complex and written so well. soulmates are real...

my favorite psychological horror. i love the way harada writes extremely flawed and miserable characters.

two rival hairdressers who initially dont get along due to their opposing personalities and philosophies. shoukichi is trusting, kind, and takes his work seriously, but unsocial and bad with people. meanwhile, fukusuke is charming, laidback, and people-smart, but pessimistic and distrusting of others. shoukichi's personality eventually makes him a prime target for a stalker.

probably the funniest shit ive ever read and its SO unserious. (there's a chapter where one guy cuts the other's dick off to use it as a dildo).

uke x uke and they fight to be the uke whenever they have sex. their dreams are to get pegged by a hot girl. the characters are loveably annoying and pathetic. i rarely like nontoxic relationships (lol) but they made the cut. i love them.

guy who wants to be murdered x guy struggling with homicidal tendencies and guilt . starts out w/ rape () and somehow ends up being one of the healthier relationships on this list. they match each other’s freak and they get somewhat mentally better together but their freak never goes away (thank god)

my fav one sided crush eldritch horror manga YES... Yes... Both main characters are super pathetic in their own way. (the "thing" pretending to be hikaru is pathetic for his one sided crush and the main guy is... extremely pitiful)

MC secretly takes pictures of his crush. the ML catches him in the act and blackmails him.

enemies to lovers with two extremely mentally ill guys. the characters are written incredibly well and i found them both relateable so it had a huge impact on me. it doesn’t get better than this…

also explores topics like SA/abuse/trauma/homophobia and how it affects the two characters. i thought this was a really stressful read, but worth it.

stalker crossdresses as a girl to get close to the girl he's obsessed with, who's deeply terrified of men.

objectively it’s mid but its one of my long time favs . the stalker is one of my all time fav characters hes extremely pathetic and a man-hating diva. Hes also THE male yandere blueprint.

usually i dont like MCs of stalker media especially if they’re weak… but MC hates his guts and humbles him badly. i love her.

this is objectively really really good it just doesn’t get the full 5 stars bc it didn’t impact me that much since the characters aren’t really my type. i did bawl my eyes out tho

i also just love asada nemui’s art. i would say asada's one of the best BL authors along w/ harada and iimo.
