i was so depressed the whole time there was nothing but pain. these women are genuinely so strong and it hurts to see them suffer in the historical partiarchy. ending was worth it.

god misunderstandings angst galore. and unrequited love i love it so bad... the novel is 100x worse though so it doesn't quite live up to the angst level
