reread king. comedy king is also a reread king. no word just read.
this is so angsty the angst seep through into reality -- the fact that this webtoon will never get finished.
MC is probably the top, a youthful disciple with so many teenage angst. put that emo in a world in the brink of peril, full of suspicion and betrayal. how can you not feel so sorry for him and want to cheer him up despite him being unsuitable for the master. the master isn't good either for neglecting him and playing fav, but he is also pitiful in his own way.
not a good bl if it has no sweetness, if either mc or ml marry someone else at some point of time, and if they never say ILY or even confirm their relationship in any way, this is not censorship. they assault each other too.
But i love how grim their relationship is. I love MC's personality. I love how ML has a very low time while in MC's present. I love to read their life like a biography from their youth to their old age. I love that they are switch.
someone sharing their mtl edit in the comment, now it is one of my fav novel, i finished it in one night i cant sleep. i fell in love with the character design in the webtoon, and their expression in hurt no comfort. the sweetness after feel more justified. the low is author ok with no consent as long as they are in relationship. it is written in passing but it is still there, i think it is even OOC for ML to do that so probably author fetish or something
they give a vibe of hidden crush who use brotherhood as excuse to stay with each other. the younger brother is a tsundere but he is also not aware of his feeling. however comedy is the strength of this webtoon imo. reread material
I'm a sucker for this trope. reincarnated into the body of your substitute is a good base for reveal pork. ofc there are always some plot holes in this type of setting and problematic behaviour but as a sucker for this trope i take the good and the bad
sometimes it feel illogical, mc'll genuinely feel he is that identity when he is just supposed to act. he carried over guilt but did he feel guilty as the identity or did he feel guilty as himself who was forced to play the act.
they overthinking a lot of stuff, so it becomes more philosophical sometimes. there are a lot of hint of various fetish, so it just feel weird for me to keep loving it when my fetish isn't the same. so i like it as a read but not overly so
it is difficult to give bad review to story about smooth relationship. this one is not unnatural or out of the way. it has enough plot to keep thing going but still simple. entertainment industry is also a beloved setting. after months i will surely forget the plot but i'll remember the good vibe
