The love and care Asayama Wakabi put into forensic veterinary and veterinary/animal field as a whole is really shown throughout the series. The sheer passion each character has in relation to animals made me reconsider my major a few times lol. Highly recommend out of all of these series.
Reading the webnovel and it gets CRAZY. Found family is one of the bigger themes in this and also reconciliation with the past and learning how to move forward regardless if you have obvious regrets or not. Manhwa hasn't reached that part yet but it's making good progress.
Found family is also a big part of this and so is facing your reality. MC uses literature for escapism as many of us do but when your escapism becomes your reality, you have no choice but to confront your demons and overcome them. Really lovely story when you take a bunch of steps back to see the big picture and even then you might not see all of it. If you like the manhwa so far I highly recommend reading the webnovel. But do note the changes in translating names and stuff.
This really got me into rofan novels again after so many stories of FMCs wanting to go home and not doing shit to do so. She sets out to achieve her goal and does it while having her happy ending. Really wishes we had more side stories of their modern life and the aftermath of her death but oh well. Handles trauma and the subject matter of murder/death pretty well.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE REBECCA IS WHAT LUCY COULD HAVE BEEN . My found family finds each other in every universe
Loved how they approached food in this series and even the topic of cannibalism. Also like how the character relationships shifted throughout the story from coworkers to kind of temporary found family considering how different their goals are outside of the dungeon. Love Laios sm.
I love what they're doing with religion in this. As great as religion is and their blessings, they can act as double edged swords and hurt you more than benefit you in the long run. Love the MC and his relationship with his family. And it's nice to hear stories of his family when they were alive through song.
Definitely ship the villainess and the possessor. Finished the light/webnovel and the direction they went w the possessor was... interesting. Poor guy the villainess ends up with loves her but she doesn't love him back as much. Kinda hope that she develops some feelings for him bc she deserves to be happy and also, could've been a possible polyamory.
