This is honestly really well written. There is a moment where a student has a crush on a teacher, but it is obvious after we get some context, that nothing is meant to come of it. At the current point in the story it is unclear where the romance is headed, as we have only just found out how all of our main characters feel about each other. Regardless, I know that wherever it ends up will be interesting.
9/10 I can't wait for more.
Love Polygon | Friendship | Unrequited Feeling
Author's issues aside, the writing in this manga is brilliant. Our main character goes through many struggles as he grows with his art and the people around him. The characters and arcs within this story are so unique we never know where Yatora will end up next. It is probably one of my favorite pieces of media to date.
10/10 I don't have enough words to tell you how I feel about this manga.
Existentialism | Self Understanding and Growth
Lets just say, I adore Kagura and Ninomae. I feel like this is a fresh take on shoujo romance, especially since we are seeing a resurgence of the genre. I love their hidden personalities and the fact that our two leads can understand and find comfort in each other.
8/10 A cute read for anyone who loves shoujo manga.
Secret Personalities | Healthy Communication
Finally, one of my favorite types of male leads isn't pushed into the 2nd place spot. Also, I am glad this isn't another reincarnation comic where the female lead falls for the one who abused her in her first life. Our protagonist holds her ground when setting her boundaries, and her friends help her reinforce them.
8.5/10 A genuinely fun read. I absolutely love leads who can banter with each other.
Healthy Friendships | Strong Female Lead
This manga is such a nice read. All of the characters are well written, especially our protagonists. While the "scary-looking but gentle" male lead is definitely nothing new, this take on the trope is executed perfectly. Also, the healthy communication between all of the characters is something I will always enjoy.
9/10 An extremely well written romance with the perfect amount of drama.
Healthy Relationships | Open Mindedness and Understanding
This manga is an absolute delight. The friendships are written immaculately, and each character has an arc where they grow with our main character in some way, shape, or form. Both the female and male lead go through their fair share of struggles, and their friends help them along the way
9/10 The characterization in this manga is so warm and fun, you can't help but want to be friends with them too.
Growth and Self Understanding | Healthy Friendships
This Post-Apocalyptic webcomic genuinely left me wanting more. Our main character goes through quite a bit of hardship and keeps moving towards his goal regardless. The way he sticks to his morals and helps the people around him is so admirable especially when he's going through his own troubles. Our mc deserves the world.
10/10 The journey is tough but the payoff is well worth it in the end
Character Growth | Trials and Tribulations
I genuinely enjoy the dynamic between the two leads in this manga. Something about how you can see Tajima's feelings grow for Kumamori over time is so fun and the pacing over all is great! My only qualm is that Kyon doesn't have his own little side story where he finds the romance he's been looking for.
9/10 A a short and sweet shoujo manga with great pacing, and fun character dynamics
