One of my favorite shoujo mangas EVER! It has a nostalgic shoujo vibe, at least for me.
I saw a clip where the FMC fights back against her bullies, which is rare because a lot of the time in this genre of mangas or manhwas, the protagonist usually just lets the bullying happen. It was so satisfying that I decided to read it, and damn, I fell in love with the vibes and the essence of the story. I could really relate to both leads and their views on how they want to live their lives and be portrayed. Highly recommend, it’s a quick and satisfying read. Also this has a movie.
I absolutely adore both the anime and manga. The story and dialogue are so intricate and weave together seamlessly. I will always recommend this, especially since it contains one of my favorite plot elements: time travel.
Got me wanting to roam around Tokyo with my ghouls, frrrr. Favorite manga of all time and one that I will always recommend.
Till this day, whenever I think of this manga, I associate it with that one certified platinum edit with the song "You Can Be King Again." Amazing read, so nostalgic, makes me want to live in a mountain with spirits.
Edit: Omg, I just searched up the edit just to get another hit of it, and it has 195 million views. DAMNNNNN, certified platinum.
For the fashion baddies, it's by the same author as Nana. Although it’s not the most detailed and complex story, it’s still a classic. It’s such a refreshing read, and the art style is so glamorous and appealing.
A dark, unique spin on the life of Richard III of the House of York. It's really confusing, and there are a lot of annoying characters, including the main character at times, but I just can't seem to put it down. The art style and story have a gothic, haunting vibe to them.
A seinen sports manga that follows Mori, the main lead, on his journey as he dives headfirst into rock climbing. Sigh, personified. With breathtaking visuals and dialogue, I highly recommend this, especially when you're in the mood for something chilling that will stay with you. Touching on topics such as loneliness and obsession, the story fills a void within you while simultaneously leaving you feeling empty.
I haven’t picked this up in a while because I’m letting it stack up a bit, but I love the vibes. It’s very alluring and refreshing.
This used to make me SOO mad. Another widely renowned and well-liked classic, it explores themes like the multiverse and suicide. There's also an anime if you'd like to watch instead.
