Love this series, it's dark and toxic but I like that it's actually willing to explore a really fucked up Guideverse world. Too often a lot of that stuff gets handwaved for a "happy ending" or explored surface level. The ending to me really feels fitting for the best you can get in a post apocalyptic depressing world. I do think the novel explores all the psychological nuances more.

Green flag ML is a very very rare thing in guideverse. Also a twist where the ML is the guide, and the MC has the same vibes as a typical hunter verse story! This author also has improved in their art and story telling every single time.

Can only say it's a really beautiful story, that explores survivors guilt and depression very well. The setting and backdrop isn't all that unique or interesting but the character drama between the MC and ML is really compelling - the artist drew the emotion on the faces really well too to capture all the complicated feelings they both have!
