just finished the novel, the story and characters were so good. the smut in the side story was honestly unnecessary but it was fine. i wish there was more novel/a sequel/a series because i really loved the main characters and how they changed as the story went on. i loved the depiction of trauma and mental illness and love and care. it made me cry how loved our mc was despite wanting to die and feeling unworthy of happiness. i was so happy to see them together at the end. i really love them both
