I don't think a few lines could cover even a fraction of what I had felt while following this story. The webtoon is good, and the novel has changed me as a person. It follows a story of the only reader of a WebNovel which, on the day of releasing it's final chapter, came into life. I haven't picked up a single WebNovel of many chapters after completing this one, because I can't go through that emotional attachment once again. This is a story I respect.
This story feels like it was written for me. The tropes, the tsundere doting, the PLOT. I love Chansol's character so much. Kim Tac can have my heart. The art style is so easily recognisable and I love everything about this manhwa. The characters are clear with their words and this manhwa is like a loud silence. Every panels hits just right.
I NEVER EVER found a story like this again. This depicts coming of age in all it painful truth. The misunderstanding, the regret, the chasing arc is one of the best out there. I love how humane the characters are, and how they work through their relationship. I just love Son Yeonduk, I hope I had someone as sincere as him in my life.
This is personal. Shinwoo and his abandonment issues hit dangerously close. The art style is breathtaking, and the characters are not mere 2D french fries. Han loves my baby so much, yet he took the last fucking approach he should've taken, but I'm happy for them so. I love how they work out their issues. Character Dev is just chef's kiss.
You don't have any fucking idea how many times I've re-read this. Like hell. This is the EXACT amount of angst, the EXACT amount of gorgeousness, the EXACT amount of grovelling that I needed. Yeah, babe get away from that trash who doesn't value you, until he just cries and begs and fucking mans up to confess instead of being a fucking clown and coward. The satisfaction is high in this one. And that GORGEOUS dream panel in one of the last chapters??? Hello, it added 10 years to my life span?
So, I discovered 'Sailor Song' after reading this and it just stuck to me every time I think of this. The tea, the politics, the romance is top tier. I pulled two all nighters to read this because I just didn't have time and it was so worth it. My baby just suffered so much and he deserved a happy ending more. It has a hint of everything, like ArtistXMuse, second ml (tho, not that strong), Running Away from abusive piece of shits, and the Character Development just won my heart.
So good. It's like an unbreakable wall against an unstoppable force. The tsundere Kang who doesn't want anything (like LoVe) to get into his way (his career), and the sweetest boy, Do Yoon Shin, who just barges into his heart. And the Confession??? In my entire profession of being an avid reader, I've NEVER EVER read a confession so beautiful. I mean _he_ was dumbstruck, but even I felt my jaw drop like?? I re-read it twice and it just hits that specific spot. Like, damn. Lovely.
This is something I will cherish in my heart till the day I die. I bawled my eyes because it said everything I wanted to hear. It is so realistic. Shirotani and his suffering; the reason of his suffering, the shadows of the ghosts he himself made. I was so caught off guard in the last few chapters of the confrontation (the last element of his list) that I almost broke down. This is so realistic to me.
Listen, when I tell you to that I couldn't handle this story, I mean it. The melancholy gutted me. It's like- *Sees _that_ street panel from season 2*
*Boom!* My world is falling apart. Like, bitch, what do you gain from making me cry, huh? Yashiro's loneliness and his inability to love in a way he wants to is fucking killing me. I just hope Yashiro finds all the happiness in the world with that bear-like guy.
You think I forgot to add this. Like hell I will. The sheer depression I plunged into after reading this- I mean, my parents got weirded out by the person I became for the next few days after I completed it. Thank God, I pulled myself. Lewis has terminal illness, but I think his fucking shit of a husband is more of a pain than his tumour. If I could isekai into a manhua, I hope it is this one, just so I can beat the shit out of that Aldoph.
