Hands down one of my absolute favorite stories. Want angst, a mature plot, and complex characters? This is the manhwa to read. It’s more adult and not just because of its occasional erotic scenes but also in its layered storytelling. Both the FL and ML are morally grey at times, making choices you have to try to understand and forgive. It’s deeper and more emotionally intense than your average story.

I feel like everyone’s already read this, but if you haven’t, get on it because the art alone is worth it. The structure, setup, and plot are arguably some of the best in the ‘villainess’ genre. Miscommunication core but at least it makes the male characters easier to forgive. I love the FL. When she’s sad, I’m sad. When she cries, I cry.

Laritte, the neglected illegitimate daughter of a Count, marries a supposedly dead Duke who was falsely accused of treason, just so the Count’s “real” daughter doesn’t have to. She moves into his abandoned mansion until the Duke shows up alive and bleeding on her doorstep. Plot’s decent, art’s dookie, and I’m still on the fence about the FL.

I love that ML I was rooting for wins. The art in this is adorable and the story is pure fluff! So sweet it’ll give you a toothache. The FL falls in love at first sight with her senpai and tries to pursue him but her classmate tires sabotaging her because he doesn’t want her and his friend together. She’s so pretty too like omg the outfits, the hair, everything. It’s perfect.
