the overarching arc (beyond their love story) works soooo good, it brings so much interest and is just so fucking well done. the story ends at a satisfy point that feels so natural

the past literally had me crying and like actually emotional, i felt awful, they were so cute, and this comes from someone who was RATHER apprehensive cuz of the parent x child dynamic, (spoilers but, if it helps he became a form of a child because that’s what he first saw, he would’ve shaped into an adult had he seen an adult, and he could’ve been any form like that deer)

You were soooo right! Early chapter 3 I was about ready to give up because I wasn’t feeling it, so I took a break annd came back. But then the whole plot shifted and it got SO GOOD!!! And thank god for the side stories cause those were my favorite part! Thank u for ur recommendation or I never would have seen it all the way through!!!
