My Favourites

One of my all time favourite reads, I loved the story so so much! It kept me entertained the entire time and I felt very into it while reading. I can’t think of any complaints whatsoever, I seriously think anyone that likes this genre should absolutely read this! Genuinely it is very enjoyable and the art goes really well with the story too! 5/5

JAW DROPPING BEAUTIFUL ART! I genuinely worry for the artists wrists because the amount of detail in every chapter is insane! The story is very enjoyable and I enjoy slower paced reads so I always enjoy re-reading while waiting for the next upload. I think I enjoyed reading the manhua more than watching the donghua version but I still recommend watching it if you enjoy reading it! 5/5

Firstly, the art is beautiful and I cannot believe that people had the audacity to bully the artist because the art from the start has been captivating. Secondly, the idea that a mushroom has effectively “possessed” a human body is such a cool idea, I immediately knew I was going to enjoy the story regardless because of that concept! The use of mycelium and hyphae was genuinely the cherry on top of this amazing idea. I truly don’t think I can recommend it enough! READ IT! 5/5

I had already watched the anime adaptation before reading the manga so I semi-knew a chunk of the plot but regardless I still enjoyed reading! Some people complain that the pacing is slow but I personally enjoy long reads. The art style is beautiful and I think it’s fitting. I may be a little biased as I did watch it for the first time 10 years ago so don’t take my opinion as gospel lol! Also just need to mention that Mey-rin is my favourite character! 5/5

This was genuinely amazing! I was captivated by the story the entire time and I was very happy about the ending. It seemed very fitting to go with that route rather than the usual cliches. 5/5 I completely recommend this to anyone who enjoys doomed stories with a lot of crazy mixed in!
