NOT an indicator how much I like the story. This list includes unique art styles of all kinds - not just beautiful art but also art where I like the panel composition, background patterns and other things. The art doesn’t have to particularly stand out or every part of it interesting - it may just have one tiny consistent detail that I personally like or it just stood out to me even if I don’t especially like it!
Each chapter marker has a lovely full colour digital oil style painting of various characters. The colours are so in those chapter markers are so vivid and really makes you feel like you’re looking at stylised portraits of real people
I like how the eyes and eyelashes are drawn but then again I’m also in love with the so called “fish eyes” (my freinds call it that, not me) of Vampire Knight so….
Ahhh the character designs and costumes! PLUS the characters are so expressive and especially our main character who is a cute girl. Lots of artists don’t let pretty people emote as much which always bothers me - makes me think they’ve had Botox done LOL. So cool to see this MC make absolutely stank faces
