Best written yaoi / literature award

Everyone knows Youneda Kou, but I don’t think this is her most popular story , yet, my favourite.

This is shounen ai,and I think from all of authors stories this one is most gentle, non agressive, non dramatic, just touching, realistic one.

I love the MC looking like a punk but being gentle and realising his emotions.

10/10 I think one of my absolute favourites you can read whenever in whatever mood.

The perfect example of good balanced masterpiece one shot. I’d say it represent one of the healthiest relationship in BL.
It’s bara, but not scary bara ahahah.

My absolutely beloved manga, idk, something about this makes me very emotional. VERY unique art style, I warned you, but other than that it’s absolutely best . Include three different stories , one is probably best supernatural story I’ve seen in yaoi (and very interesting concept too). Try to read it without expecting usual things

Peak slice of life, I like delinquent - top student trop, but there are always slide into unrealistic school drama.

Not with this manga - it’s like best characters ever, and seem acting weird with communications is a most realistic thing I ever seen .

Hard to describe how captivating this one is, I’ve read it at 7am and couldn’t sleep, cuz I kept thinking about it.

It’s a mafia plot, age gap (yeaas) but also it’s about two very different worlds coming together because of one encounter.

Don’t wanna spoiler it for ya, read it yourself and enjoy first.

Warning : not finished manga, but it’s written great so far.

This is manga I come back when I want to read a romance that they say is dead.

It’s about a radio, (never seen radio plot in BL), the shy MC and his love for one particular radio station and one particular voice on it.

It’s sweet but also dramatic but just the right amount of it.

It’s a police story about elite group of animal shapeshifters who investigate hard cases of shapeshifting crimes. The MC is a hot blooded blonde who replaces one of the killed member and has to work with unsocial partner.

The dynamic is crazy, the story itself I believe originated from the novel, and became webtoon. The detective part is truly detective.

Old but this is so good honestly.

Someone commented that this is the best uke in yaoi ever and I agree. Straight , good parent, patient but struggling ordinary life of a single parent guy — this is one of my top characters, I come back to see his way of thinking and caring about his daughter again.

The seme develops slowly, we see this story from ukes perspective and it makes it more interesting, cuz he’s not interested in relationship.

I have complicated relationships with this author. Her stories to me are on the edge of being too dramatic or too violent. This one is a rare balanced yaoi drama, without falling into crazy tearing cliche in the end.

This one does include tears lol, but it’s showing the relationship really good, and the inner voices of MS and their stories. I liked that seme opened up slowly, without loosing all of his character into mid air, he stayed true to himself, and was realistically changed. 9/10

It’s just a one shot masterpiece of a straight guy falling for gay guy and gay guy being the most realistic (aka not showing it off at all) way. I love their dynamic, the only problem with it it’s being so damn short and not even an extra.
