everyone kept recommending this so i finally gave it a shot, and yeah… i get the hype. the art style’s really good and the plot’s genuinely interesting. there’s just a bit too many flashbacks for me, my attention span is fighting for its life. overall it’s a solid read. i just kinda wish i started it when there were more chapters out

it’s basically your usual korean shoujo reincarnation manhwa but instead of a fmc it’s a guy. idk man that alone was enough to hook me.
i used to eat this kind of shoujo slop up during the pandemic like it was a daily routine, and now there’s a male mc version? say less.

tldr: it’s shoujo slop but it doesn’t feel like slop because there’s no romance.

i’m still not sure if this belongs here because nakyun is genuinely weak, but he’s “op” in the sense that he can deceive people way stronger than him and use them to his advantage.

overall it’s pretty good. there’s a lot of dialogue and flashbacks though. probably not something i’d recommend reading in one sitting.

there’s no definite romance, but there are some girls around the mc. nothing actually develops, just putting that out there in case that’s not your thing.
that aside, the story’s pretty unique. it’s one of the few where the mc is basically the protagonist, antagonist, and side character all at once. the pacing is… questionable at times, but since it jumps between multiple povs, i can let it slide.

mc is so hot that his face card alone could convince people he’s a saint. there’s also this character who’s clearly into the mc aside from the usual fangirls, and he actually blushed... idk if it was cuz of her or cuz she was about to give him a rare herb. hopefully it’s the latter. anyway...

this one isn’t really doing anything new, but the execution is better than most of the usual stuff out there, and it’s romance free. there’s his former fiancée, but in the novel he doesn’t end up with anyone.

i just wish there were more male characters, that’s all lol.
