rational and realistic (and also super cool) FL who you cant help but feel for during the intense moments (it fr made me cry). the storyline felt purposeful and well thought out, every central character feels refreshingly complex, the art is incredible. all around: quality.
plus i think the main pair's dynamic is sooo perfect, even though i couldnt guess who she'd end up with at the beginning.
very wholesome, feel‐good isekai. its a pretty laid back story about 80% cooking and 20% the main character's familiars. its not trying to do too much, but thats what i like about it; might even be my favourite isekai of all time
it still has its cool moments, and its funny. cant count how many times ive reread this, its just so comforting
mc is forced to be the villain in different storybook/novel worlds, and, in the first, he has to relentlessly bully the other male lead against his own will. the twist being, the other ml can read minds— so he always hears the mc dote on him and cry in his thoughts.
eventual BL, i was weirded out by their dynamic at first but its not as problematic as it seems. two very interesting characters who are overly obsessive in different ways. technically isekai :)
at this point there are a bajillion webcomics just like this one, and whether its actually the highest quality/most well written/overall best is all a matter of personal opinion. all i know is that the mc does a fantastic job of being as cool as possible every time, and the art is perfection. 100000% worth the read
absolutely shameless, call of duty esc, power fantasy manhwa for the modern man.
the mc is an ex merc reborn as a teenager. he's inexplicably skilled in combat, bilingual, and obviously he becomes the wealthy founder and CEO of his own company. also obviously, women fall over him wherever he goes (tho its not a harem).
this might seem like itd be bad based off that description, but luckily the mc is, also also obviously, very nonchalant about it all, so its actually a pretty fun read
mc is a kid who loves to draw, and when transported to a fantasy world, finds out that whatever he draws becomes real. though he has no idea that this ability is outrageous even by this world's standards.
love how its a refreshingly unicorn‐storybook‐fantasy, rather than a LotR one, and the mc lives in a mystical forest. tho, contrarily, it tackles conversations about art that are very real world applicable and has some shockingly dark scenes.
also love how the mc gets SOOOO OP
mc's parents sacrifice him to a demon, but it turns out fine since, apparently, all that particular demon wanted was to adopt a grandson. after enrolling at a school in the netherworld, a series of events have the mc gaining notoriety as a powerful demon himself (which is the last thing he wants)
really silly, funny, and sweet— but it has its cool moments too. hands down one of my all time favourite manga. in general, not just isekai
this got me so excited about steam engines i started to think i might be autistic
