This is doubtlessly my #1 favourite BL manga. It addresses the effects of trauma and rape and the way the author conveys emotion through sheer images alone is just fantastic. I cannot properly express how much I love Yashiro and Doumeki. PLEASE JUST READ
I was drawn in my this manga initially because I loved how slow and quiet and slice-of-life it was. And also because the MC and ML both physically match to the point I couldn't tell which one tops/bottoms. The fact that their relationship progressed into such a healthy and loving relationship is just such a pleasant surprise - I normally don't read a lot of established relationships, but I periodically check in on the updates of this manga because I want to know how they're doing.
Definitely in my top 5 favourite BLs. I was dubious at first because of how... rough and nearly non-consensual it started off, but this story surprised me. It's very philosophical with how it discusses power dynamics in ABO and the value of letting yourself fall in love with someone. The MC is one of the most interesting bottoms I've ever seen - I love him so much, and I love how caring and attentive the ML is too!! Genuinely this manhwa doesn't deserve this low a rating
One of my favourite BLs. Honestly, these two are kind of horrible people, but their flaws are what makes them so human. I think anyone who has gone through toxic relationship would find something that might resonate here. I love this. I think their relationship is wonderfully portrayed, and I love how both optimistic and ambiguous the ending is.
I love this so much. Would 100/10 recommend to anyone regardless of genre. It talks about how all your flaws still make up who you are, how you should still be loved nevertheless, how none of it should be disposable. What a great message and plot and characters.
This is quite messed up and these two are horrible people. But their relationship is as addicting to me as they are to each other. There are so many themes and messages addressing the consequences of fear, the taboo of incest, and the tragedy of shutting your eyes out against desires you try so hard to avoid. It's terrible and sad and beautifully written. The author's artstyle is so languide also - incredible art
I appreciate the way internalized homophobia was shown so much. It's short, it's sweet, and that chapter when he realizes he wants to hold a man makes me cry
IT'S UNIQUE. ABEL IS SO LOVEABLE. Their relationship is so precious and this story has some very good comedic timing amidst a politics-driven plot. Wonderful!
Honestly a very fun story! I love both their personalities and the way these characters' expressions are shown. It's not too heavy and not too deep, but it addresses some topics that I think are definitely valuable. Also the confession scene is one of the most romantic lines I've ever seen ON GOD
The way this author draws is so magical!! Would definitely recommend the other BL manga written by them too. Felt like I was listening to Ghibli music reading this.
