Genuinely the best Yaoi/Bl I've ever read. It does not only focus on their romantic relationship, but also on the two men as people. They feel real, in my opinion, because they have "bad sides" that are confronted and beautifully resolved in the end. This story not only deals with love that is considered "forbidden" during their time, but also with the idea of wanting more in life and the guilt that comes with being "selfish."
One of the cutest couples I've had the pleasure of reading. They truly had such an entertaining dynamic between them !!! I'm biased because I ADORE crybaby tops, but it truly felt like there was a real romance between them. I feel like some stories struggle to convey exactly why the characters love each other so much, but I felt like this was needlessly said between the two. The way they care for one another and take care of each other is so sweet. I really loved them as a couple.
The act of becoming each other's family felt so real in this specific Yaoi/BL. Usually, I don't feel intense emotions about couples considering each other as family and being each other's homes...UNTIL I READ THIS. This was so beautifully written, I finally understand it now; I've been enlightened by you, Jung Seokchan. I love you. They feel so genuinely in love with one another, which I find hard to find in some stories !!!
THEY ARE SO IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER. The sacrifices made and the ways they showed that they cared (even in secret) made my heart clench inside my chest. The slowburn (?) (felt normal pace for me...I read it all in two sittings, i think.) was perfect. I love how they built up their trust in one another and their bond through the chapters. I LOVE THEM. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY. Just read it, vro... It's peak. The tension near the end made me grasp at my bedsheets in fear...
The ending was AMAZING. My favorite part was the end-- which I won't talk about since that would be major spoilers. But it felt so powerful, so emotional, and I found myself relating to Danny's selfish desire to keep everyone close. Azuma Kaya has such a wonderful way of writing these complex characters, never reeling back when exploring their flaws and insecurities. I love it. I spent most of this review talking about Danny instead of the main pairing LOL. They were cute !!!
Very short but SOOO cute ^^ I really enjoyed the dynamic between the two characters. I’m also always a sucker for babies in these stories…I am totally biased.
I LOVED THIS COUPLE. The uke was SO CUTE. I wish there were more chapters !!! If it were 70 chapters... I would be fed so damn well. The ending was really silly, too !!!
