shakespeare's richard iii if richard was intersex instead of a hunchback. the art is beautiful and richard's development was so tragic yet addicting. such a cathartic read. HOWEVER!! the plot gets ridiculous at times esp if you know anything about the wars of the roses so i recommend throwing out all logic and just enjoying it as is

underrated gem!!! a peasant girl falls in love with the local duchess who has been accused of poisoning her husband. its such a moving romance and the characters are so wonderfully written i cannot recommend this enough!! love love love this
