fl was VERY weak willed (had some speech impediments, resulting in her weak/cowardly personality) in the beginning, but she had some nice character development later on .
This will not be everyone’s cup of tea if they preferred a fl who was already strong or smart . FL will come off as unbearably annoying at first (this seems to be the main reason why ratings are lower)

i read the novel, but it seems the manhua is slightly going in different direction. The novel was good up until the ending became very obviously rushed, and i felt there could have been more romantic scenes. but nonetheless it was still a decent read~

became kind of boring half way near the end, with a harem. There was SA near then end which was very disappointing, because it did not really serve anything for the plot and was very unnecessary. Consensual or not wouldn’t have made a difference.
