The translation was very poor. I didn’t like the art style either.
But honestly, it was exactly the kind of story I wanted. I felt sorry for Alex — if only there had been someone to help and understand him a little before everything began, it would have been really nice. In my view, Alex seemed like a person with a very gentle and beautiful energy. As for Clark, I kind of dislike him. To me, Clark appeared to have much deeper psychological issues than Alex.
