"it's just a oneshot" LIARS!!knowing your childhood friend, your first love, is going to die as soon as he reaches 18. is definitely brutal to the heart. it's such a simple short story but somehow it felt like i was reading this like it was 50 chapters long. when i first read this story, i was in shambles. when i read it again for a 2nd time, i was still in shambles. reading it for the 10th time like i never learn.

definitely deserving of its title—a TIMELESS read. I've read this book so long ago but it still leaves such an ache in my heart. whenever i listen to "Unchained Melody" i always remember this story. the characters, the hardship, and even the change of art style added so much to the story. this is definitely something to worth reading and to be read again.
