there is some bad blood between dirty blonde top and carrottop friend but they sort through it. And the aftermath friendship is just so sweet. The show is for sure toxic in plenty of other ways, since it deals with mental health and just shitty life experiences. But I still love how both the top and bottom grew as people and had a friend group and eventually it just all connected. Not everything is solved of course that’s just life but in terms of friends they all homies
Just such a healthy overall experience. The top isn’t jealous or possessive and is such a green flag. The bottom is social and sweet and they have a shared friend circle due to theatre club. It’s just an overall wholesome vibe yo. There’s of course people who are into the bottom in the story but even they are just so like “accepting?” Of the fact that nothing will happen when they realise the bottoms already in a loving relationship. It’s so refreshing.
The shit that Redhead pulls is honestly unhinged. But that aside, both the top and bottom are so in love and they got friends and they got family and that’s what’s important yo. The bottom has baggage and conflict since the story does focus a lot on his life and mental health but he eventually does learn to open up and be crazy with everyone and the top instead of shackling him, encourages him and listens to his day to day rants. It’s just so real for a borderline unhinged show
I didn’t even realise that the top was the top in the beginning few chapters despite them being on the cover. Literally just “one of the bros” sorta chaos energy. The bottom is a chill lad, the top is a chill-stressed- teacher lad and them being in a dorm with a lot of other people means just a whole lotta socialising and banter. It’s so fun.
The village is mostly filled with elderly people so not much young blood to put to the jealousy test. But my God if the top and bottom in the show are not some of the chillest, loving people ever. The baby girl is the cutest too. They are friendly, nice and have social skills. Even in one of the scenes where we see a past pic of the top with his ex, the bottom was jealous, it’s natural, but the way it was shown was so green flag I was blown away
You can tell the top is lowkey possessive, but he’s trying to stay in his lane to not stop the bottom from shining as bright as he does. So far we got the bottoms friend blackmaling the top in exchange for old pics of the bottom which has made the top more compliant. Let’s hope this allows the top to also be more social and join the bottoms group of friends. Mans too alone otherwise. The bottom tho, he’s perfect. Bro’s a bros bro
